Application Deadlines
South Africa: There are four application deadlines for volunteers to South Africa throughout the year:
For travel to South Africa between 12 January – 1 April, the application deadline=December 1st (the previous year)
For travel between 11 April and 24 June, the application deadline=March 1st
For travel between 18 Jul and 30 September, the application deadline=June 1st
For travel between 10 October and 13 December, the application deadline=September 1st
The following dates are public holidays in South Africa and we strongly recommend you do not volunteer during these times:
April 2-11, June 25- July 18, October 1-10
December 14- January 19.
Rwanda: There are also five application deadlines for volunteers to Rwanda throughout the year:
For travel between January 4 and February 12, the application deadline=November 25th (the previous year)
For travel between February 22 and March 26, the application deadline=January 20
For travel between April 12 and June 30, the application deadline=February 20
For travel between September 6 and October 22, the application deadline=July 10
For travel to Rwanda between November 1 and December 17, the application deadline=September 25
The following dates are public holidays in Rwanda and we strongly recommend you do not volunteer during these times:
February 12-22, March 26-April 12, June 30- September 6, October 22- November 1, December 17- February 12.
