NO WOMXN SHOULD EVER HAVE TO LIVE IN FEAR - Women's Month Mural in Rammulotsi.

We are pleased to share with you our Womxn Mural which was completed last week in Rammulotsi which marked the end of Women's Month here in South Africa. It has become increasingly difficult to ‘celebrate‘ Women’s Month here in South Africa as it has become a reminder of the increasing and ongoing violence inflicted against women and children in this country. South African women, trans and non-binary individuals continue to experience and fight against gender inequality, femicide, psychological and physical abuse, domestic violence, sexual abuse, discrimination and rape on a staggering scale. In light of this we wanted to create a mural that will speak publicly to these statistics and provide a visible platform in which to share helplines available to the womxm in our community in accessing help or calling out perpetrators of gender based violence. We hope our mural can serve as a source of support in times of need and a reminder that - No womxn should live in fear. South African daughters deserve only love, kindness and respect.
